Illinois Drilling & Testing Co., Inc. (IDT) is soil testing lab located in Addision, Illinois, serving all of Chicago suburbs, as well as southern Wisconsin and northwest Indiana.
Since 1958, Illinois Drilling & Testing has provided nearly 50 years of geotechnical a material testing expertise to residential, commercial and industrial developments in the greater Chicagoland area.
We are organized to provide professional services including soil studies, laboratory testing and inspection services. IDT has the equipment necessary to perform subsurface investigations and a full range of geotechnical tests at a competitive cost.
We are pleased to be able to provide our clients with prompt, courteous and customized services to fit particular needs. The staff of IDT includes professionals with the experience and capability of managing a multitude of geotechnical assessments. The professional staff has extensive training in soils, material testing and foundation engineering.
We are equipped with light and heavy duty drill rigs for soil exploration. The in-house laboratory is used to perform the necessary testing of soils and various construction materials.
